Sailing World Cup Miami Review

Our first competitive international event is now over and what an experience it was. There were a lot of take away's for us this event that we are eager to implement moving forward. Over the month and a half we spent in Miami Fl, we worked heavily on our starting and boat speed with our coach and training partners. It was great to come away from the event with comparable boat speed against the top 49er sailors in the world, as well as confidently win 80% of our starts. These new skills along with our already developed tactics were able to bring us top half results in the first world cup event of the 2020 Olympic quad.
