Today marks 3 days until the 2020 49er World Championship starts here in Geelong, Australia and the first of the Canadian Olympic selection events. This is something our team has been working towards for 3 years; all our thorough planning and extensive training has been in preparation to qualify and represent Canada at Tokyo 2020. We had put our social presence on the back-burner for some time now as we felt our training needed our undivided attention. Slowly and steadily over the past year since our last update, we have been adding pieces to our sailing puzzle. The last few training blocks have been outstanding and our preparation in all fields is right where we want it to be. We are looking forward to the competition and are excited to now be sharing this challenge with everyone again.
